Netflix has shared the first teaser for the highly anticipated adaptation of Little House on the Prairie. Meet the Ingalls family, as they discover what “home” really means.
Charles, Caroline, Laura, and Mary left everything they knew for a new life on the prairie. And in just a couple of months, audiences will have the chance to follow their journey. All episodes of Little House on the Prairie will premiere on July 9, only on Netflix.
Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier
Along with the teaser video, Netflix also revealed two pieces of teaser art.
The Ingalls family will be portrayed by Luke Bracey (Charles Ingalls), Crosby Fitzgerald (Caroline Ingalls), Alice Halsey (Laura Ingalls), and Skywalker Hughes (Mary Ingalls).
Just like in the beloved books, Laura is our window into this adventure, guiding us through a story of family, resilience, and the meaning of home.
Rebecca Sonnenshine serves as showrunner, and is executive producing alongside Joy Gorman Wettels for Joy Coalition, Trip Friendly for Friendly Family Productions, and Dana Fox. The series is produced by CBS Studios and Anonymous Content.
