I am recently out of the hospital, almost died, in a coma for months, tracheotomy/breathing machine etc. My 16 and 26 year old started watching this as I am in recovery at home. It was suggested to do so by a dear friend. They love it. My 16 year old asked, so we watched 3 episodes yesterday. It is the perfect get reacquainted after my 1/2 year away in hospital with no visitation. We talk out our values as we watch the different issues of the show.

i love Little House on the Prairie so much, i watch it almost everyday and it has made such a positive impact on my life. i’m 13 years old in a world where the only thing people my age know how to do is stick their nose in their phones and lay in bed all day. and i don’t understand why because there is a whole world out there just waiting for us to explore it! get off your phone, appreciate and love your family, be grateful for what you have, and go enjoy life! it’s too short to spend it staring at a screen!

Kamryn, you are very mature for your age and are absolutely right. Keep exploring. Who knows where your adventures will take you?! I’m sure your family loves you too! Little House was on when I was your age and I watch it every once in a while now because it brings back memories and makes me smile. Sadly, I cant get my 15 year old son to watch with me! 😉

Hi Bethany. I watched it back when you did, weekly, every time I visited my grandparents. My 16 year old son watches with me everyday, and lots of times my 26 year old son too. My 16 loves it, and yesterday requested three times in the day and evening to watch it, so we watched 3 episodes. I tell you this because it would be wonderful to share this with your same age son. Maybe you can find a way to interest him, e.g., ask him if he could watch it and point out the differences he sees in how his life is, or do a would you rather a or b, or tell what to do you think is better now, or better then. We started off with episode 1 of season 1 and are up to season 3 episode 18. It would be a fun thing to do together, but more importantly it is a great lesson teacher and i nfluence. Toni

Caroline Ingalls always knows how to comfort people. She’s an ace mother. She can always put meaningful things in simple words. To be honest, I think she’s the wisest, sweetest character in Little House.

This was my favourite programme whilst growing up. I also brought my own children up on it. Now it is time to introduce my granddaughter to it also. You all were the very best and still are. I love you all. Thank you so much.

I love all the tv shows I have been watching little house since I was 11 years old. I have three books and melissa gulbet book. I have watched all of the shows. The only person that I did not care for was nellia olson. What inspired about me writing my own book about my life. Was watching little house and Lora was spent to a publisher and got spent away.

My favorite thing about my home is even though it is not the rural farmhouse I would like, I have filled my gated subdivision house with all the wonderful Country antiques that make it feel like home, my safe and happy place. It’s just my husband and me and our cat Pooksie.. Pooksie is a big part of home. He sleeps with me and we cuddle, I cannot imagine a home without atleast one of God’s Beautiful little animals being part of it. I love it when my daughter and son in law come and we sit around the kitchen table and talk and have a meal together. Outside in front where my perennial garden goes is a homemade scarecrow made by my husband and myself, showing everyone, that this subdivision house is different, it has something different about it, something warm and special inside and out. Home is my favorite place in all the world. It’s where I spend all my time. I am blessed to have all these Beautiful Country antiques and Artisans pieces made in America. Amen!
